This is the first time that Sanya Airport has used drones to carry out bird damage prevention and control work, and it is also the first time that agricultural plant protection drones have been applied to flight area scenes in Hainan Province.


This test flight uses a medium-sized plant protection drone, with a maximum flight height of 30 meters on the spot, a maximum communication distance of 5,000 meters, a maximum flight speed of 10 meters/second, and a theoretical operating efficiency of 63 mu per hour. In this trial operation, it took only 1 '45 "to successfully complete the herbicide spraying operation of about 1.3 mu of lawn in Sanya Airport.

There are richer types of drugs. At the same time, the UAV also has its own obstacle avoidance radar and binocular vision system, which has the ability to bypass and avoid obstacles in complex scenes. It can effectively avoid the navigation, meteorological or navigation aid lighting equipment distributed in the flight area. While operating efficiently, it can also ensure the safe operation of the flight area. In addition, it also has the advantages of reducing manual input, improving atomization spraying efficiency, and reducing the amount of chemicals used. In the future, it is imperative to use drones to promote bird damage prevention and control.
